
We are a non-profit organization that hosts an annual training conference for motor officers from across the United States and Canada. NAMOA also communicates information to its members about other training opportunities held by partnering agencies and departments.

Our training program is designed to provide the highest level of training to motor officers from the Northwest, United States and Canada. We utilize the latest technology and techniques to ensure our officers are prepared for any situation they may encounter while on duty.

OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Our annual conference brings together motor officers from across the United States and Canada for a week of training, networking, and community building. In addition to our training program, we offer a range of activities and events that are designed to promote camaraderie and build lasting relationships.

Training Events

Proficiency Courses
Multiple courses providing a continuous riding experience and expediting course time for riders. Courses are designed for the first year rider all to the 20+ year veteran rider.

Advanced Course
Some motor officers are looking for something a little more challenging. Our advanced/challenge course will provide advanced maneuvers for those riders who want that extra challenge.

Pair Riding Course
Pair riding is an essential skill for police motor officers as a majority of us work and ride as pairs every day. Our pair riding course allows officers to hone their pair riding skills for the real world.

Barrel Course
Single barrel courses allow motor officers to hone their skills for maneuvering in traffic as a competent police motorcycle operator.

Slow Course
The slow course is the perfect way for motor officers to demonstrate their balance, clutch and throttle control.

Battle Box
the Battle box is a fun competition where multiple riders enter and only one victor exits. watch the video to see the excitement!
