The North American Motor Officers Association (NAMOA) is a non-profit organization with over 400 police members throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Western Canada, and other States. Our goal is to provide outstanding training opportunities to Motor Officers while earning and donating money to local charities.

Each year a chosen region hosts an International Training Symposium. This event lasts three days and up to 200 motor officers train and then compete for best overall rider, and attend a large vendor fair to look at new equipment. Due to shortages in government budgets it is more and more difficult for these motor officers to attend this life-saving training.

One of my goals is to do everything I can to get as many officers to this annual training, as well as provide a top-notch website where members can exchange information, learn new riding techniques, discuss problem areas, see equipment that is being used by the motor officer profession and direct them where to purchase these items, not to mention much, much more. Due to our tax status, there is not a steady flow of income to maintain the site, or award scholarships to those agencies that cannot afford to send their motor officers to the symposium. That is where a sponsor plays a key role!

Our sponsorship needs are widespread and nothing is considered too big, or too small. It is my hope that you will consider being a NAMOA Sponsor. Your contribution is tax deductible, and our tax ID number is 93-1087246. What else is in it for you or your company?

For a $500.00 donation or more, your organization will be recognized as an official Association Sponsor. NAMOA will send you a custom plaque to hang wherever you'd like that read's, "Proud Sponsor of the North American Motor Officers Association," a thank you letter, and our deepest felt thanks. We will also put you company logo and contact information (link) on our website for one year (renewable annually of course). When a member of NAMOA or any other person who arrives at our site on the World Wide Web notices you supporting our Association in general, or that motor officers are using a specific piece of your equipment, I feel they will return the favor and contact you for their business as opposed to a competitor. Your donation also provides you a vendors table at the next upcoming training symposium at no additional cost to advertise your products or services if you wish.

One thing our sponsors don't get to see all the time is what they are actually a part of, and that is the amount of money donated to charity. For example, in May of 2005 the NAMOA Symposium was held in Hillsboro, Oregon. More than 180 motorcycle officers trained and competed for three days. During that time they were able to raise $10,000 that was donated to a local children's hospital.

We appreciate you taking the time to consider being a sponsor and look forward to answering any questions you may have.
